1. Open System Settings
2. Go to VPN
3. Add manual configuration
4. Enter some OpenVpn connection data, doesn't matter what
5. Select Password as authentication method.
6. Type in some username and some password
7. Press OK
8. In the list of VPN connections, tap the connection you just created
9. Press “Change”
10. Make sure the selected authentiaction type as well as the entered username/password is present.
